A minor boy drowned to death in the underground water tank of his house in Pak Colony on Saturday.The incident took place near Bara Board within the jurisdiction of the Pak Colony police station. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy and later handed over to the family for burial. Police, while quoting the victim’s family, said three-year-old Hasnain fell into the tank when he was playing near it, adding that they immediately tried to rescue him but he died on the spot. No case has been registered as the police said that it was an accidental death.
