Petitioners’ counsel Munsif Jan submitted to the SHC that the petitioners had not been issued admit cards for the matric exams due to which they missed their first exam on Monday.A division bench of the SHC, headed by Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar, was informed by a counsel for the matric board that the school management had failed to submit forms for admit cards on time. The BSEK lawyer said the board was trying to urgently prepare admit cards for the students and they could take the admit cards later in the day.The SHC observed that it appeared that the school management had sent the forms of the students to the BSEK controller of examination after unjustified delay. The court also called the principal of the private school to appear before it on April 9. The BSEK counsel undertook before the court that the petitioner students could approach the controller of examination to receive their admit cards so that they could appear in the second paper of the matriculation exams while the admit cards for the remaining students would be sent to the school for distribution.Taking the undertaking of the BSEK counsel on record, the SHC adjourned the matter till April 9 and directed the matric board to issue admit cards without any delay.
