Love of animals helps vet nurse pass maths GCSE despite failing 18 times



Hannah Cardey has dyscalculia - a condition similar to dyslexia but that affects a person's ability to do maths. A veterinary nurse has passed her GSCE in maths on the 19th attempt - meaning she can now fulfil her dream of helping animals as a career. As reported by Grimsby Live, Hannah Cardey, 26, who works at Blue Cross Animal Hospital, struggled to qualify for the job because she needed to pass a maths exam.
