A retired policeman was injured in a firing incident in the Nagan Chowrangi area on Monday.According to police officials, the incident took place within the limits of the Sir Syed police station. The man was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he was identified as 45-year-old Masroor Ahmed, son of Mehmood Ahmed. According to SHO Nawaz Brohi, two suspects riding a motorcycle were busy looting passers-by when Ahmed attempted to catch them. At this, the suspects opened fire at him and escaped from the scene.
